How Family Art Drop-Ins Work

A creative family activity without the commitment of a weekly class.

  1. Watch for a date

New Friday, Saturday and early-release sessions are announced through the Family Drop-In List.

Each drop-in features one or more rotating studio projects such as canvas, totes, T-shirts, denim or wearable art.

  3. Create side by side

Kids and grown-ups work together with guidance from The Boston Artistry team. No prior art experience is needed.

Three generations at one table.

The most amazing experience for my family. All 7 grandchildren and parents had a day that will not be forgotten. Nandita and her staff are so kind, talented, and patient with all ages.

Debbie D. Family sneaker day

A wonderful experience to share with my son. We painted sneakers together representing the baseball teams he plays for, and the staff helped with everything from paint mixing to design placement.

Brian T. Father and son, baseball sneakers

My wife and I had an amazing experience designing and painting Air Force 1s. Not just for kids. Plus the shoes came out so amazing, you can’t buy them like this!
