1Choose your custom project

Your form will automatically show the questions that apply to your project.

2Before you submit

Our work is artist-created, not machine-printed artwork. Custom painted designs are hand-painted and hand-lettered by our studio artists and designers. We do not promise photorealistic reproduction, exact screen-print quality, or exact copies of another artist's work. Reference photos help communicate your vibe, but the final piece will be our artist's interpretation.

Copyright & brand note: Please do not request exact reproductions of copyrighted characters, protected logos, or trademarked artwork. We can use your inspiration to create an original design direction.

4Your sneakers

Tell us what we will be working on.

Denim details

4Your denim

Custom denim is BYO. You provide the denim piece. Please choose a clean item in good condition and share the material/details below so we can confirm it is suitable for the requested work.

Your idea

4Tell us about your project

What is the item, what would you like on it, and what is it for? A sentence or two is plenty; we come back with questions.

5Design direction

This is the most important section. Tell us the story, mood and details you want the piece to capture.

For painted work, lettering is hand-drawn in our studio style. We do not reproduce protected brand typefaces exactly.

Paste a link to inspiration, sketches, outfit colors, previous work you like, approved artwork or other visual references, or email them to nandita@thebostonartistry.com after you send this. Reference images guide the mood; they are not copied exactly.

6Embroidery artwork

Share the cleanest artwork you have: paste a link, or email the file to nandita@thebostonartistry.com after you send this. Complex artwork may need simplification or digitizing before it can be embroidered. Final stitch feasibility is determined by our studio.

7Final notes and approvals

Timing: Custom work requires studio review before a completion date can be confirmed. Rush requests are not guaranteed. If your project is tied to an event or gift date, please include that date above.
