The Boston Artistry Sneaker Bar™ is an open-ended art and design studio in Hingham, Massachusetts, where creativity meets fashion, self-expression, and confidence. We offer art classes, birthday celebrations, summer camps, sneaker design experiences, after-school programs, and family workshops for kids, teens, adults, and multi-generational groups. Families come to us not just to make art but to design something personal, meaningful, and wearable. Whether painting sneakers, creating custom pieces, or exploring new artistic ideas, every experience at The Boston Artistry Sneaker Bar™ is designed to inspire creativity and celebrate individuality.

The name comes from where it all began. Our very first opportunity came from the city of Boston, and that moment meant everything to us. We chose a name that honors our roots and the place that gave us our start.​

While our roots are in Boston, Hingham was a deliberate choice for our home base. At the time, Nandita was living there as a young mom, inspired to create something meaningful within her own neighborhood. Establishing the studio in Hingham allowed her to grow the business while staying deeply connected to and investing in the community she called home.

We believe creativity grows when people are given the freedom to choose. Our studio is intentionally open-ended. This means participants are not copying a sample or following rigid instructions. Instead, they are encouraged to: ​ • Choose their own colors, themes, and ideas • Think through their design decisions • Solve problems as they work • Persist when something feels challenging • Finish their work with pride We guide the structure, but the creative direction belongs to the artist. ​ Our goal is to help artists of all ages build confidence through design, decision-making, and the completion of what they start.

Not at all. ​ We welcome: • Young children exploring creativity • Teens developing their personal style • Adults reconnecting with art • Parents creating alongside their children • Private groups and families celebrating together ​ Creativity has no age limit, and everyone is welcome to explore, design, and express themselves at The Boston Artistry Sneaker Bar™.

No experience is required. We provide professional guidance, high-quality materials, and thoughtful instruction while still allowing space for individual expression and independence.

Yes. Our immediate focus is to grow across Massachusetts, laying the foundation for expansion into cities such as Miami, New York, and Los Angeles. Backed by a strong creative community and the trust of the families we serve, we are building toward a nationwide presence. Our vision is ambitious, and we are just getting started.
