What is The Boston Artistry Sneaker Bar™? The Boston Artistry Sneaker Bar™ is an open-ended art and design studio in Hingham, MA where creativity meets fashion, self-expression, and confidence. We offer art classes, birthday celebrations, summer camps, sneaker design experiences, and family workshops for kids, teens, adults, and multi-generational groups. Families come to us not just to make art — but to design something personal, meaningful, and wearable. What is your philosophy? We believe creativity grows when people are given the freedom to choose. Our studio is intentionally open-ended. That means participants are not copying a sample or following rigid instructions. Instead, they are encouraged to: • Choose their own colors, themes, and ideas • Think through their design decisions • Solve problems as they work • Persist when something feels challenging • Finish with pride We guide the structure — but the creative direction belongs to them. Our goal is to help artists of all ages build confidence through design, decision-making, and follow-through. Is this just for kids? Not at all. We welcome: • Young children exploring creativity • Teens developing personal style • Adults reconnecting with art • Parents creating alongside their children • Private groups and families celebrating together Creativity has no age limit. Do participants need art experience? No experience is required. We provide professional guidance, high-quality materials, and thoughtful instruction while allowing space for individual expression and independence. What ages do you work with? • Ages 4+ for most programs • Drop-off programs recommended for ages 7+ • Family workshops welcome mixed ages Our sessions are designed to support beginners through advanced creators.
Registration How do I sign up? All classes, workshops, and camps must be registered online in advance through our scheduling system. We do not accept walk-ins at this time. Because we are a structured studio, materials, staffing, and in some cases, pre-drawn elements are prepared ahead of time based on confirmed registrations. Advance booking ensures every participant has a fully prepared experience. What is your cancellation policy? Our cancellation policy is consistent with our posted Terms & Conditions. • Cancellations made 72 hours or more before the scheduled start time will receive studio credit only. • Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled session are not eligible for credit. • Missed classes or events are not eligible for credit or refund. Studio credit may be applied toward a future eligible program.
Birthday Parties How do I book a party? Parties are first-come, first-served. A deposit is required to secure your date. We cannot hold dates without payment. How many guests can attend? • Base & Premium parties: 8–18 guests • Sneaker parties: 6–18 guests Minimum headcount still applies even if fewer guests attend. What is included in a party? All parties include: • Guided creative session • All paints and materials • Digital invitation • Polaroid photo • Light décor • Organic juice, popcorn, water • One large cheese pizza for 10+ guests When should we arrive? Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before your party start time. Sneakers & BYO Items What type of sneakers should we bring? Canvas or genuine leather only. Can items be left for finishing? Yes — Premium packages may leave items for professional outlining and protective sealing. Turnaround time is 8–12 business days. The party host picks up all finished items together.
